As Fall approaches we begin to look for ways to refresh interior spaces, and to transition to cooler temperatures. We’ve gathered a few tips for effortlessly welcoming the next season into your home.
1. Bring the outdoors in.
Greenery, wood textures, and neutral tones bridge the gap between the outdoors and interior spaces. Think terra cotta vessels in earth tones, potted plants that add interest, and woven baskets to store cool-weather accessories. Terrain is one of our favorite sources for natural decor.
2. Update throw pillows.
Layer pattered pillows in warm tones to bring the colors of Autumn inside. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns and shapes, that are unified by color. 3. Layer rugs in rich hues.
Something soft underfoot feels cozy and adds a pop of color. Try rugs that incorporate colors inspired by nature: warm reds and golds, or browns and tans. Check local antique stores for scatter rugs in unique sizes and shapes. These vintage finds will lend a lived-in, cozy vibe.
4. Add natural texture to your space.
