Flooring for Farmhouse Design
Sam and Kathleen envisioned a traditional farmhouse, with architectural details that will stand the test of time. Their decision to use 8” Live Sawn White Oak throughout the home was guided by the color and finish.
“We were intentional to use building materials like stacked stone, reclaimed beams, and the flooring from Cochran’s to create character. We love old homes. It was important to us that our new home still has features and traits that you would only expect to see in an older home. It’s hard to overlook an 8” wide hardwood from Cochran’s; you feel it the second you walk in the door.”
