Cochran’s TrueWood™ Engineered Flooring
Cochran’s TrueWood™ sustainably engineered wood flooring affixes a quarter-inch veneer of hand-finished wood to a plywood substrate (backing). What’s unique is that Cochran’s can engineer the flooring using newly milled American wood or beautifully restored antique woods.
Why use Cochran’s TrueWood™?
Unlike solid wood, TrueWood™ engineered flooring can be applied directly on concrete slabs to give home basements, offices, retail spaces and high-rise residential spaces the beauty, character and warmth of flooring made from fine American wood.
TrueWood™ is good stewardship.
Each engineered floor board requires about a third of the wood needed to make a solid floor board. This is important in terms of sustainable building—especially if you’re looking at a large installation or making the most of antique wood. It is finished with the same green products and time-honored craftsmanship that have made Cochran’s America’s premier maker of fine reclaimed and American Heritage flooring.
What about the care and durability of Cochran’s TrueWood™ engineered flooring?
You care for Cochran’s TrueWood™ flooring just as you would solid wood flooring. And like solid flooring, TrueWood™ can be sanded and refinished over time to renew its beauty.
