The king of the reclaimed hardwoods, this floor exudes both ruggedness and class. If this floor was a president, it would be Teddy Roosevelt. Like the great man himself, it is equally at home in a Rocky Mountain retreat, or a Manhattan flat overlooking Central Park. Reclaimed from barns and structures that were built when priorities were a lot different, our Antique Oak was cut from the best trees, sawn with water and steam powered sawmills, and worn down over a century or more of hard work and hard weather. This flooring embodies the pioneer spirit of America.
We offer our Antique Oak flooring in two distinctive grades.
Milled Grade:
Antique Oak – milled is the perfect mix of refined character and classic charm.
With less rustic characteristics than our Distressed grade, our Antique Oak – Milled is made from the interior cuts of barn beams, floor joists, and flooring planks.
Distressed Grade:
Made from the exterior faces of beams, decking, and siding boards our Antique Oak Distressed gives any space a more rustic cozy feel. This grade displays worn character from the dark weathered patina, deep saw kerfs, and rough abuse the lumber received from years of heavy use.
